Born in Germany, and grew up in Tel Aviv, Ben-Yaacov moved to Jerusalem and opened a studio together with her late husband, the sculptor Izzy Ben-Yaacov, in Chutzot Hayozer where they worked and exhibited their work.

Anastasia Ben-Yaacov took courses at the Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts, Jerusalem, and studied History of Art at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Studied with the artists Marek Yanai, Yosef Hirsh, Jan Rauchwerger, and sculpturewithZvi Lachman.

Between 2002-2004 Ben-Yaacov studied with Israel Hershberg at the Jerusalem Studio School. Member of the Israel Artists' Society. Has exhibited alone, as well as in group shows in Israel and abroad. Worked as a jeweler for many years. Makes small-size sculpture and works as print-maker. Member of The Association of Painters and Sculptors – Jerusalem Artists.

Exhibited solo exhibitions as well as in group exhibition s in Israel and abroad.
